Burrata is one of those foods, when you see it on a menu, order it! Burrata is a cheese with a hard outer shell, filled with a mix of cream and mozzarella. Orginiating in southern Italy in the early twentieth century, Burrata is often believed to have been conceived as a great use for scraps of leftover cheese. Pair it with crostini, cracked pepper, and fig for the perfect mix of savory and sweet.
