Dear OO7: #RomeWillRockYou

I read this article and HAD to repost it. As we all know James Bond loves Italy. Whether it's Venice, Sardigna, Lake Como, or my old home, Siena, OO7 is allll about the peninsula. Nick Squires of The Telegraph posted a hilarious piece, well I think it was meant to be serious, but none the less hilarious to me, because of how "italian" this scenario played out.

So apparently while filming the next Bond film in Rome the producers ran into an issue with the "sampientrini" (cobblestones). Daniel Craig attempted to speed through the streets in his Atson Martin, which was probably still slower than a Roman taxi. However, the impact was lost when those damn cobblestones got in the way. Apparently the cobblestones were quite loud as the luxury vehicle went speeding down the streets, causing an issue with the audio equipment and sound quality.

You know, cobblesones the millennia-old streets, and Rome, famed for its rocky pavements that the ENTIRE world marched. Cobblestones.
